Pudong Terminal 1

Shanghai Pudong International Airport — Terminal 1

Terminal 1 opened on 1 October 1999, together with a 4,000-metre runway and the airport’s cargo hub. Its wave-shaped exterior draws on the outline of a seagull, and the building was designed from the outset with room for expansion.
