Shuttle buses and airport transfers at Shanghai’s airports
Several kinds of shuttle service connect the terminals, the airports and the wider transport network.

Terminal shuttle buses
- Pudong T1 – T2 — free shuttle buses run from about 06:00 to 24:00 at roughly 10-minute intervals. The one-way trip takes approximately 5 minutes. Stops: T1 Gates 1, 8 and 11 on Level 3; T2 Gates 21, 26 and 27 on Level 3.
- Hongqiao T1 – T2 — a shuttle bus links the two Hongqiao terminals, which are about 2 km apart across the airfield.
- Satellite halls — the underground MRT shuttle connects S1 to Terminal 1 and S2 to Terminal 2.
Airport coaches
Eight airport bus lines serve Pudong Airport, linking it to rail stations, hotels and transport hubs across Shanghai. Typical departure points include Shanghai Railway Station (North Square), Shanghai South Railway Station, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and the Hongqiao Hub East Transport Center. Night services run from 23:00 to 05:00 on a reduced schedule.
